6 month contract opportunity for a Project Manager with private equity software experience.
Our client is a well-respected and successful global investment technology consultancy with a private markets systems practice looking for a Project manager to work with a number of key client projects for system implementations and upgrades.
Responsibilities include:
- Accurately estimate, build, agree, maintain and communicate project plans with mixed discipline project teams comprised of Internal, Client and other 3rd Party personnel.
- To provide direction and leadership to the project teams, driving and managing projects with medium to high business complexity and significant cultural challenges to a successful completion.
- To ensure consistency between project scope and project definition documents in terms of effort, resources, costs, timescales, deliverables, responsibilities, milestones and payment terms
- Managing, controlling and monitoring project risks, progress against time and budget.
Required skills and experience:
- Successful project leadership experience managing investment technology / software implementations and/or upgrades to time and budget.
- Experience of private equity portfolio management and accounting systems such as Investran, BlackRock eFront, Vitech Equitrak / v3, eVenture, SS&C or similar in house systems etc would be preferred.
- Professional project management certifications are beneficial but not a pre-requisite (i.e. PMP, PMI, PRINCE 2 etc).
This is a 6 month contract covering for someone on maternity leave.
£ rate: Flexible, commensurate with experience.
